The popular Frida Fest is back for its 10th year of family-friendly fun, all in celebration of strong women like Frida Kahlo and Selena Quintanilla. The free, two-day event will include a mercado with over 60 local vendors, Frida look-a-like contest, live musical performances, food, drinks and more. 12-5 p.m. Aug. 15-16, Wonderland of the Americas, 4522 Fredericksburg Road.
