NAV – Production Takes Center Stage On This Wheezy-Produced Release
In his second release of 2020, Canadian rapper NAV combines forces with producer Wheezy for Emergency Tsunami. While NAV plays to his usual strengths of funneling the sounds of the day through his own lens, it’s Wheezy’s production that truly shines.

The beats rattle, twist, and turn thanks to abundant 808s and haunting synth lines that leave enough space for NAV’s flex-filled lyrics. Guest spots from Gunna, Young Thug, and Lil Baby—all of whom ascended with lifts from the producer—along with Lil Keed and SahBabii add a bit more dynamism to an otherwise straightforward and easy listen.
